Where Are You Continues, Again.....

This is the a "panoramic" view of the lot where I parked in Ashdown, AR last week...



After loaded in LA, parked at FJ in Amarillo, TX.... I knew that wasn't the greatest spot but anyway....

So.... this is what I saw parked in front of me at 1 am when I woke up....






I had to leave at 2 am... So I had no other option but knock on the driver's door.... And he came to the window right away and moved the truck....

Yesterday I parked at a rest area in UT...


And another truck from my company showed up and parked right next to me.... what a coincidence... BTW, I am in the first truck...



That location is constantly visited by tourists to see the "Hole in The Rock"....


I parked right in front of it...


Now I am back at the "Stinker" truck stop in ID... was here last week when I came from WA.... and now I am going BACK to WA....


Taking a 34 and will deliver on Tuesday cause I have only 7 mins from my 70 and will gain only 55 mins at midnight...
Thought about parking at FJ a few miles back... but that one has awful parking spots....
Here is super quiet, very close to the bathroom... and the showers are ONLY $5.00! Nothing "fancy" like Pilot and such but they work... and I decided to pay this time...

Been raining since daylight. Probably be in rain for the next couple days.

 

Yeah... truck driving and health problems are not a good combination at all.... specially OTR...

 

Well... I heard this hurricane is not as strong as it was predicted before.... and folks who went thru Katrina are not too worried about this one...

Driving in NM and UT yesterday.... Darn! That windshield was nasty...








Lots and lots of people vacationing.... roads are full of four wheelers and all during the day...

 

If you haven't done it, you should go through the hole in the wall, it is interesting and worth the 5 bucks they charge.
They have some animals in pens there, and a couple of ostriches in one of them. There is some peanut machines to get nuts to feed them, I watched a family buying peanuts and throwing them in to the ostriches, so I got a handful and let the male ostrich eat them out of my hand.
The lady ask how I knew it wouldn't bite me, I told her I just did, bit don't try that with the other one, as it will bite. She tried to get her husband to let him eat out of his hand, when he wouldn't she had me feed him again so she could take a picture. lol
She finally ask how I knew the other one would bite, I told her it was female and that was just a female trait.
She didn't belive me, so I showed her and sure enough she bit. lol

 

I need to take a nap to work at midnight.
Laundry is done. But $12 to wash, and dry 2 loads sucks.

I was there yesterday.... didn't have time to go see the Hole in The Rock...
I wanted to do a video call to my dad and his wife in Brasil yesterday but there's no internet or cell signal in that place...
