    Considering those machines are for small loads.. yeah.. it's expensive... I spend about the same but I use big commercial washers and dryers.... Only do that during "hometime" in the hotel...
    When I am on the road I carry enough clothes to wear for 3 months and do laundry when I stop by at my company for truck PM (regular maintenance) every 2 months. They have a washer and a dryer FREE! :biggrin_25519:
    Hey.. have a nice rest driver... :biggrin_25518:
    I woke up at 23:30 last night and drove all night.... Haven't slept yet... but not sleepy yet... :biggrin_25512:
    Taking a 34 now... so will fall sleep whenever I feel like... and wake up whenever I feel like also... :biggrin_25519:

    :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559: Yes sir! 3 months... sometimes 4... :biggrin_2559:
    But I don't sweat much.... :biggrin_25512: and I wash (kinda) t-shirts and light clothes during my shower... just to get rid of the smell and the sweat... It's not like I am a flat-bed driver... I don't load or unload anything.... just sit and hold the steering wheel all day... or all night... :biggrin_2559:

    Yeah... even though this is summer.. I also carry coats and sweaters... and other warm clothes and gloves and warm caps/hoods... just because we go 48 states and we never know where it can be cold... A driver just told me a couple days ago there was some snow falling up in WY but it wasn't enough to cover the ground...
    I also carry my bikini and beach towel and gym clothes just in case something happens and I have to stay in a hotel and use the swimming pool and gym... :D

    I generally have some kind of coat in any rig I may be driving, but so far haven't had the need to carry a bikini yet. lol
    Laundry is one thing I do not miss about running the lower 48, in fact I always seemed to come home with more clothes than I left with, thanks to wallmart. lol
    I have been through the hole in the rock a couple of times, once was enough but somebody else was with me one time, so went again.
    I have slept there quite a bit though.
    Your stinker station was another of my hang outs too. I used to just have my permits sent there and they would keep them for me, the place behind them had good pies too. I had friends in the area that would meet me out there at times too.

    Rocks and Intothesunset Thank this.

    Yes Mr. @starmac ... some folks are good at making friends wherever they go.... and they can visit with their friends here and there everywhere in the States...
    Yeah... I like this Stinker here... :biggrin_25519: Every time I got here late at night, any time, I would find a place to park... :yes2557: Never took a 34 here though... Will shower here for the first time...
    I rather stay here than at that small JF in Caldwell... those parking spots are too tight.... IMO...
    And I don't need any restaurant... :biggrin_25512: I cook in the truck and have all I need. Did my groceries at WM in Childress, TX the other day and my cooler is still full... :yes2557:
