Who knows what the story is with this person, but Randy does indeed send hand written letters to drives who are fired.

 

Well as long as you don’t break or tear up anything at the company’s expense you don’t have to worry about those type of letters! I’m just saying.

 

And quite honestly, if this driver cost the company tens of thousands of dollars by doing something incredibly stupid (it happens more than people want to admit), he had every right to dress this driver down for it.. it doesn't say anything about killing himself or nothing to that effect. To make a suicide the total fault of one person writing one letter is just not anything but trying to place the blame.

 

I dont even know who that is. I just hate to get baited by a potentially bogus thread title. She said the letter ended her son's life. I'd like to know what was written. Why go public if you're not going fully expose the whole story?

 

I would guess there were other factors leading to her son's death.
It seems through other posts the hand written letters are a fact.
So my question is why does a business owner resort to belittling employees after they have been fired? I'm guessing everything in life that doesn't go his way is someone else's fault.

 

That’s really ##### up sending a hostile demeaning letter to someone like that, regardless of how costly the firing offense was. If I worked for that company and got one of those letters after leaving voluntarily or not, I’d be glad to give whoever wrote that crap a chance to say it to my face.

 

As it is we have to take it with a grain of salt. The OP hasn’t been back since April to further substantiate the claim(one hit wonder).

 

Yeah yeah yeah... we get it.. The fact is that if the run of the mill driver could send demeaning letters to shippers. receivers, "slow" drivers, Their management, the outcome would be predictable... with the exception of real monetary loss... We'll never know what the costs of the offending driver actually accrued, but lets say it was in excess of 100,000 or more and the company gets to eat it.. for some driver who did something incredibly stupid and usually gets to walk off scott free... a letter from the person actually having to foot the bill for these non drivers is understandable.. but still not great for some supposed CEO... I suspect ghost writers using his letterhead.
