So when all of a sudden you EGT's drop, it very well can be the fact you blew the pyrometer out of the turbo pipe. Plus note found a place called BH tube in Pa. That will make a stainless steel turbo pipe to your OEM part number. They even had one for my old pile on the shelf. Nice people and a ok price.

I think the kid is gonna hook back on to my old hopper..... ain't hauled nothing but crane mats the last two weeks and not much of them.

He got the old T6 back going....it had lost most it's oil pressure...lost a piston squirter tip.

I understand. I started this game in a low year.

Only thing I know -now - is that, in a rollercoaster industry, you need to start out with lead in your sled.

Otherwise you’ll try pushing it up the next grade, with a high likelihood it’ll run you over when you become exhausted.

    Waiting for the crest . . .

Put mine in the manifold when I had everything apart. I like that much more than post turbo.

I had high expectations today but all I've accomplished so far was a cold refreshment run....think I'll call it a week.

After mama gets timesheets approved tomorrow I think we'll head to the lake.....go bounce my axx around on the skiddy awhile.

It is more accurate pre turbo, but if it fails, by by turbo.

This Silverado I bought has 17 inch rims on the front but 15x10 on a 275 drag radial on the rear. I was on Jegs looking for something Sunday and saw they had a sale on RaceStar rims and $50 off $500 purchase or more, so I bought some 17x9.5 for the back for cruising on a street tire. They arrived today.

I got new meats put on the Jeep last week....

    1564005655569753338600.jpg

But the rims look like axx...

    15640057084841942602683.jpg

I think the answer is send it down the road in someone else's name.....but that'd mean replacing it and that'd end up cutting into 'Cane's calling it a week time.....

So ya'll see where this is going..... can't see them rims from behind the wheel....of the barge....

My Sierra had that dull clear coat on the wheels from the factory. If that’s clearcoat damage on yours, I would go get that aircraft stripper from the parts store. Brush it or spray it on (aerosol) let it sit for a few mins, then pressure wash it off or scrub it off. Then polish it with some white diamond, etc and they look 100x better.
