Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

It allows drivers to feel like they're able to accomplish more while being exploited by their employers and customers. Meanwhile, people don't want to get into trucking because it's exempt from laws regarding pay and breaks that other jobs have to follow.

So your 30 min break can be on duty not driving (pointless cause everyone already fudges this). And you can stop 30 min to 3 hours and pause your 14 (might be nice for rush hour). Allows 7/3 splits as well.

I for one am pleased with the proposal. It helps me do the job I signed up for more efficiently.ncmickey, homeskillet, Truckermania and 3 others Thank this. -
Until the 70 hour rule is changed, it's still going to suck. Shutting down early so you can start driving when you recap at midnight is asinine.
tscottme, FlaSwampRat and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
The new rule could be better, but with the 30 minute to 3hour break that stops the clock, will make 100% better as far as safety. At least a guy can legally take a much needed nap or just break when he has to instead of having yo pay for it.Truckermania Thanks this. -
sevenmph, ncmickey, FlaSwampRat and 1 other person Thank this.

More ****** confusion, just go back the 1962 version, simple and easy to understand.
FlaSwampRat, x1Heavy, TheyCallMeDave and 2 others Thank this.
