    I know this and have said the same thin . My problem was him implying Millis currently has slow trucks and low pay

    I think maybe he was meaning that now that Heartland owns it they will eventually force the max speed to be reduced to match the Heartland trucks.

    Perhaps the same with pay? I have no clue what Heartland drivers make comparatively so may be totally wrong in my assumption on both issues.

    The way he said it I dont think thats what he meant. Pretty sure he was inferring our trucks are already slow and now will be slower, and our pay is low and will be even lower. Again I could've misinterpreted it but i dont think so

    It's okay.... it's words on the internet. I'm sure there is a O/O out there making 200k a year in a Pete that can do 105.....you are poorly paid in a slow truck compared to him....see it doesn't matter lol. You don't need to prove yourself to anyone and you might want to focus some of this energy on finding a new job now if you want to keep the pay and 70 mile an hour truck you have from the sounds of it.

    There is no reason to leave and go anywhere till we start seeing changes implemented. Knight/Swift bought Abilene and nothing has changed for the . So to leave now would be foolish, but believe me I'm definitely not expecting this to be like the Knight/Swift purchase of Abilene. We have 2 other purchases from Heartland to go off of on how those turned out.

    4yrs experience accident free safe miles along with being a trainer for 2yrs i can afford to wait it out The day 1 change is implemented will be my last day at Millis and I'll have no problem finding another jo . So I'll wait it out and see what happens

    Probably around the 1st of the new year is when they'll probably start making changes given time for the buyout to kick in so to speak.
