Already looking have two good ones I’m interested in.
According to the press release it will finalize Dec 31st 2019.
So come after the holidays trucks lowered
    Etc etc.
All I say is this, Keen why do you always seem to get into a argument with someone that might even sound like they said something negative about Millis?
Seen this time and time again.
Reading your posts you sound ridiculous.
No one said anything to get all bu tt hurt.
You do this so often I nicknamed you Millis’s cheerleader.
    You make us look stupid.
It’s a forum cr..app is talked. I worked almost 30 years in a factory this bounces off me. It’s shoptalk nothing more.
You say you stay out of truckstop and terminals because you can’t handle stupidity? Then reduce where you troll here.
Stick to the Millis page then,my advice.
I never in my entire life been loyal to any business. I work my tail off for them but they pay me to.
Other then that I’ll be the first one to talk smack about a company I work for.
I like finding dirt cause knowledge is power. I done this with the place I retired from and I done it here too.
Bottom line Heartless is using our management as a transition team.
I said in a previous post, I’ve seen this 19 times.
It’s all the same and we didn’t want the companies employees maybe a maintenance guy or two but your attitude here being pro millis is exactly the bs we didn’t want to inherit. It’s nothing but trouble for the new owner. We were in their minds, the company that bought them changed everything. Hate will always be there.
It’s customer base that’s all they wanted.
Owner even said now we have a customer base of 500.
Schools, terminals, equipment which ever don’t fit their business plan they will sell off.
Unless it was in the contract which I doubt because Dave millis himself in response to your question was “ They assured me everything will remain the same.”
Pretty stupid for him as ceo to believe it.
But now the three brothers have 150 million reasons to not give a dam.
    They never did.
Seen it delt with this b4.
Stick around till you see changes you can’t handle and move on.
But I think it’s better to start putting feelers out now. Test the water.
Stop defending them all the dam time.
They didn’t give a cows tail end about you or anyone when they sold it to the devil did they?
That short 10 line message vague as heck about the sale.
Screw em, time to move down The road.
Thing is I enjoy working for them too great great company
Bet grandpa and dad are rolling in their graves.
83 years of building and they sell out

Here's a shocker. I'm not even an O/O. I'm a company driver, and may even make a little less than you when it's all said and done. My truck is set at 90mph, most of my outbound runs are 1500+ miles one pick one drop, my return trips at the worst usually backhaul me from FL or GA to Chicago or Milwaukee before coming back to MN. Many times straight from FL or GA to MN. Many shipper, receivers, brokers on a true first name basis. That's not going to happen at Heartland or Millis. I guarantee you even though I may make less money, especially with all the time off I take, I am still treated far better than any Millis driver.

A far cry from the usual "Millis 500". Still almost always 36 to 48 hours off, and home every week regardless. I usually hit it hard for 4 to 6 weeks, still home weekends, then take a week off. And I guarantee you half of all people here still wouldn't want my job either.

You think 4 years at Millis gives you the right to look down on the rest of the industry. As I told you already, If what Millis did to you, along with my comments gets your blood pressure boiling that much...I'll tell you again, this is just the tip. You haven't even felt the burn of how trucking can ruin your life.

Sure, Millis was a great company, compared to the other bottom feeders and CDL Mills. If I was desperate enough I would have actually considered them as an employer. It's over. That's trucking. A year from now, no one will even care anymore.

Who's blood is boiling? Who's looking down on anyone else in the industry? If you'd learn to read I specifically stated we are all truck drivers no matter if you are an O/O or a company driver, did I not? Your original comment is the only "looking down on" going on in this thread.

    90mph who gives a flying ####?

If anyone looks stupid just stop looking in the mirror there buddy. I have no problem with anyone saying anything bad about Millis as long as its FACTUAL and not loud mouth, truck stop counter, bs ignorance being said. I will continue to go to whatever ####ing thread I want to go to and continue just as I always have, you of all people sure as hell arent going to stop me lol.

I have #####ed ALOT in the Millis thread about things but you know what its all factual and 1st hand experience. I dont spew lies about Millis, positive or negative, I just tell it how it is and how my experiences have been. If someone wants to talk #### about Millis and its true then more power to them.

I got my start with Millis 4 yrs ago literally paying for my school and living on the trainers truck off $1500 I won off of fantasy baseball. I was bringing home less than $300 a week at my factory job, and struggling like no other. Bills out the ###, and no way to pay for them, and living with a friend because there was noway in hell I could afford to buy or even rent a place.

Fast forward 4 yrs and I now have bought a house at the lake near where I grew up, bought a 2019 Dodge Ram, just went on a 2 week MLB tour of 9 baseball games in 10 days, all my bills are caught up and I have very little debt, and if I wanted to quit tomorrow I could and without worry take a month off no problem at all. You know who I have to thank for this? My dispatcher and Millis transfer. So while it pisses me off to no end that they sold out and in turn probably going to cause me to find a new company, I still dont have a bad word to say about this company. They have bent over backwards for me for several things that alot of companies never would have let happen.

So if you don't like my "cheerleading" put me on ignore. But just remember who has helped you when you had questions or issues. Just like I've helped several guys here, giving my # out to total random strangers(like you by the way).

Apparently the guy in a 70 mph soon to be 63 mph truck does.p
Apparently you give a "flying orgasm", the one in a 70mph soon to be 63mph.

Even someone from your own company just told you to pipe down and get over it.

Even without my input the rest of TTR didn't even need me to say that Millis never was that great. Those with experience know these things.

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

Haha again just because you have "experience" it doesn't mean you know jack ####.

You brought up truck speed and pay. Not me.

And again how can you say "its not that great"? Have you worked at Millis? Do you know anything about my situation? Do you know anything about what they've done for me? Exactly you dont know ####, and just because you have "experience " it doesnt mean you know anything at all. You are just spewing ignorance by speaking about things you have ZERO 1st hand knowledge of.
