How come only 1 has a 500,000 mile warranty?

I think the FL is the only one who purchased the extended warranty?

Can't you buy an extra 100,000 miles on the Cummins for 4 or 5 thousand?

    They call it Encore.

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.

Yes if I was to go the KW or pete route. I'd buy an extended warranty with it

From a business man's perspective, this isn't even a hard choice.

Which has the lowest cost of operation?

Which can be serviced just about anywhere?

Paccar doesn't offer that kind of warranty like shaker does. And the Encore is for the engine and after treatment, that's it.

Funny thing about truck driving, I cross paths with probably a 1,000 or more of them a day, and couldn't begin to tell you what even one driver looks like.

That's definitely the appeal to me for FL. When the warranty expires. I'll be looking to trade it in and get get another

    The pete.

Forget the freightliner. Shes too runt. (Its nice but eh....)

KW needs some reworking on that frame back there ugh. It's nice but its the Pete for me in the end despite the automatic.

If I was loaded with it reaching to shift upgrade and auto shifts correctly and on time then it's all good. If the auto does not do it right and gets all slushy then it's not for me.

My knowledge of engines end with the 6NZ, my knowledge of trucks end with 2003 Pete.

All I can contribute is, never a freightshaker. Think resale, or what will the truck be like with 1.5 - 2 million miles on it, if you decide to run it forever (that's when life gets less stressful and more profitable)
