    Now see kids, this here is a prime example of why you should stay in school, study hard, not put stuff in your body that don't belong, and be sure to not let your body get removed from your head.

    Found the culprit - @jamespmack - thanks for the detailed explanation on the Opt Idle, more knowledge than my mechanic had on it!!

    Floor mounted manifolds have an oil pressure switch (!?), the 2 low air sensors for the buzzer, and air lines. KEEP DIGGING.

    I found the 2 sensors for tractor and trailer supply bolted to a plate up above the mash pedal.

    Multimeter showed open circuit with air supplied, closed circuit on discharge.

    The trailer supply sensor is testing faulty, but I don’t think anything is signaled from this.

    The issue, was - whoever disconnected the opti idle connected a wire from the trailer to the tractor sensors, and vice versa.

    Of course, all the Pete dash wires are WHITE , but luckily the codes are still readable, allowing me to figure it out.

    Swore many times at the TSA for robbing me of my Leatherman. Have another ordered, not cheap at $90+.

    Thanks all for input, another mystery solved.

    @1951 ford

    I’m fixin to build a frame for a new drill press to sit on. Gonna build it around a 2-drawer file cabinet using 1 1/2” angle iron, 1/8” thick. Question: Do you like to cut 45’s when you do angle iron? Or cope it? Is one way stronger than the other, or does it matter?

    Seeing as you like Macks you could also find a Superliner with a wee-8 and a 70+ bunk and make some magic.
