Petro York.... pick your spot at even 10pm. Must be my lucky day.

Passed a quite a few bull racks today on US81 and 281 ... didn’t see a van until Norfolk.

Reckon I’ll shove some groceries down and get to Wichita tomorrow by noon. :)

I find it so funny that guys on here (here being TTR, not #5) fire shots at mechanics all the time. Call us parts changers etc. Then someone posts about a truck problem. A couple members list off random parts that it could be and a couple others list off some things to check. Without fail, OP starts tossing parts at it because someone suggested it "could be" the problem.

Camping out next to the job site in Logan UT for the night.

I think we got all the counterweight moved today so tomorrow we move boom sections.

Found a little BBQ place today in Farmington. If any of you are on I-15 near exit 324 in Utah park at the Cabela's. It's a little place called R&R. Forgot to take my phone in for pictures.

You Sir are 100%. Some have no idea how to diagnose a issue. I used to just hangout on the garage section. Not so much anymore. I feel some guys are leading them astray on purpose. Or are dumber than I give them credit for.

Migraines requiring morphine doesn’t sound good.

Enough of that stuff and you’ll tell people Lincoln is president.

Forgot to tell you, bump idle fixed - but lost cruise control!

Put it back the way it was after 2 attempts, found a schematic for DDEC III with opt idle, and now conclude the electric/air switches are correct, but ‘524’ disappears off to a neutral safety switch, and hood switch.

Trans has been changed, so I suspect there’s a disconnected pair tucked away under there that needs jumping.

A bit frustrating. At least I know bump idle will work, just need to find what’s preventing it.

I’ve yet to find a schematic that shows the wiring numbers in the engine bay - they all have aluminum tags crimped on them, but don’t match the cab numbers.

Hmmm, I dug out a few Detroit books, but yet to find opt idle diagram. Yes some had a neutral switch. Have you verified brake switch and clutch switch operation? I have no pete wiring diagrams however.
