CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Well that load was a fake load #### it so instead Ohio to Illinois drop a load then pick up a load from Illinois going to Grand Prairie Texas then hopefully Forth Worth Texas to Louisiana by Monday with a another per plan behind that for bout 3000 miles for the week I hope . I get another raise in November from 47 to 49 woohoo I can’t wait then January 2020 I’ll have a year in ok talk to u guys soon never know might see me out on the road red hat 2 finger peace sign with a blond in the passenger seat need a meal shower just ask I do got a cb in the truck .

 

Lebanon, tn for the night then off the sc and at some point to west Memphis for...... gulp.... eld...... then home for a flight to Africa.

 

The eld isn't honestly all that bad. It hasn't changed a single thing with how much I work etc just a few extra steps.

 

It's pretty easy to spoil a break if you go over 4 mph finding a shadier parking spot in the truck stop. Yard Move throws you on duty, 5 mph throws you in drive.

 

And going on duty not driving is supposed to be getting an update to have a pop-up box come up after going into the status to select "fuel, pretrip, etc"

The most frustrating part for me has been finding the individual logs and annotating them for what I was doing.

 

A buddy of mine said the same thing about it earlier this evening. I guess I’m just used to this aobr. To bad it’s gotta go.

Parked in North Platte tonight. Heading to Seattle. Nice week makes up for a bad one last week. LOL, Last week my advance account was negative! Fuel and routing hollered at me for mpg. Hard to get decent mpg when you are idling, waiting for loads. Not sure about the big push for recruiting...we need loads for the drivers we have! I was in business to long...makes me too critical.

Really light load, stormy night in Nebraska, hope it calms down before I hit Wyoming in the morning!

 

If it's higher than 70 I idle. Period. I used to try and conserve but since I barely average 2500 a week now they really shouldn't be able to blame me
