Honestly, I am a bit conflicted on this one. I do not like more regulation, but it will be nice if they start sidelining the horrible unmaintained cropduster trucks and the illegally modified trucks that can undercut prices because they don't bother maintaining their trucks.

Well instead of double bagging my trash and buying a 100 box of straws to throw in trash everytime i go into that state. I will be triple bagging my trash and buying 2 , 100 packs of straws and triple bagging that as well. I might not be able to pollute their air with my clean idle truck but i can still provide some much needed plastic into their landfills, 1 small step for man 1 tiny leap for california to dive into the ocean already
7-UP, Intothesunset, shogun and 2 others Thank this. -
Illegally modified trucks and cutting rates from lack of maintenance is quite a jump........
Any one who modifies their truck legal or not probably takes better care of it than any dopey maga fleet....Deere hunter, LumbraX, Oxbow and 11 others Thank this. -
Yeah, just imagine the lines at the Calif border as instead of an AG check station, you have to go thru a smog check station? Will it be $10/mile freight going in to Calif.?
NavigatorWife and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Maybe they’re just hauling all that to California??D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -

I"m curious. Why hasn't Cali been doing it already?
And don't any of you have smog tests?
We've had em for decades for diesels.
Looks like our neighboring state also has a program.D.Tibbitt and Farmerbob1 Thank this. -
How can they be smoking and putting out emissions with all the regs they have on the books already. Haven't owners in the state had to have their trucks compliant last year.

Intothesunset Thanks this.
