Since we are on the subject... Funniest s### I've ever seen was when some lady called up our corporate office to complain about us parking on a side road behind a lumber store. Her reasoning? The trailers where blocking her morning view of the mountains.
The contact funneled its way all the way down to our home office and after our dispatcher got done laughing at her, he told her that it was a public space and we had every right to park there. A few weeks later I chatted with an ODFL guy, and I told him the story. Apparently one of his co-workers was confronted by the same person.
Sometimes a good job related laugh is a benefit on its own.

I was actually about to quote your post and compliment how well of a write up you did. You basically nailed it. The only difference between you and I is that we had 5 drivers and 5 liftgates. So we all got one each day. Only 10% of my stops had docks. So plenty of stops where you have to drag stuff to the back. Now down here in SC, 90% is bumping docks. Most days I don't carry a pallet jack.Cardfan89, MACK E-6, snowlauncher and 1 other person Thank this. -

I miss the mountains and being able to open carry. I have plans to move back some day if I can afford it. I will not work at Reddaway again if this happens. The work conditions and expectations where unreasonable. I should have left earlier. Seeing your coworker being replaced 26 times over 5 years should have been a hint.
It's a day and night difference at Holland. Do what you can't and bring back what you can't. Don't miss your pick ups though. -

Well, you own property there now, right? So a concealed carry permit should be easy for you to get. -
