Annoying a.f. One of those things developed by people that’s never actually been on the road. Safety this and Safety that. Make sure you get plenty of sleep to avoid fatigued driving. But Heyyyyyy we’re going to put this alarm clock that goes off at very random times any time your co-driver is cut off. Be safe out there and remember to get plenty of sleep.
As you can see Ya just can’t help hitting a random piece of aluminum foil going down the road that just so happens to wrap itself around such an amazing piece of technology, blocking it. ♂️♂️

Reminds me of the guy where I used to work.
Trucks had a satellite tracking device that looked like a bulb about the size of a volley ball. One driver put a metal bucket over it after he left the terminal on each run. The company couldn't figure out why they couldn't track him. He was going off route to visit a girlfriend. He was caught when he forgot to remove the bucket before returning to the terminal one time. He was fired. He didn't care; he found a better job.
Good idea though, except he was caught.Flat Earth Trucker, Intothesunset, Barbeque and 4 others Thank this. -
Is that like the early days of having a Qualcomm (or equivalent) in the truck, where you could just unplug the #### thing if you wanted the company off your ### for a hot minute? I remember thinking that was funny as #### when my uncle demonstrated for me...

#### companies that babysit you. Yeah I had to start somewhere but then I moved on, best decision ive ever made. If you feel harassed by your company-move on. Chances are you will find better company to work for.

I ran a few trucks for several years (very few) A couple of times a year I would get the itch to put on another truck. All I had to cure it was stand around and watch any fuel island for 10 minutes or less, and I always came to the conclusion I had all the trucks I needed. lol
