Easy way around that stupid law in Cali.... Lease the TRUCK to the company on 1099 pay the owner/driver a wage on W2.... 2 separate checks. Perfectly legal and used to be pretty common

And you would get the group rate for health insurance instead of paying 1100 per month like I do.

    Cattleman84 Thanks this.

Hmm.... a home in the Pee-pullz Republikkk of Kkkalifornia for 160?? Must'a been a 200-square-foot "efficiency" apartment in 60-year-old frame construction.

Actaully it's a 2000 sq ft home built in 2005. 2008 was the house crises. So I got a heck of a deal. Plus it's in stockton. It's the armpit of California.

D.Tibbitt, Chinatown and dwells40 Thank this.

I knew a guy in Tennessee that stocked shelves in a grocery store and he's from California.
He sold his house in California that's a dump and now lives with upper middle class where the average home was selling for around $500K.
He paid cash. Now he has no personal income taxes to worry with because he's in Tennessee and has no house payment.

Did he bring their political ideas with him ? Hope those fleeing California see what those ideas did to their state and do not try and change their new state . After all they are seeking out the new state because it’s more conservative politics .
