Great info everyone , I am in Indiana and you must do the parallel parking to get your CDL.
I am in a sleeper tractor and 53 ft trailer.
I can to it on the practice area , straight line, off set and parallel parking to the right and the left.
But we have a testing site right where we are and it seems a little different. Both right and left sides , I would not pass because the back end of the bottom of the trailer was hanging over the yellow line at the aft side.
Most people say you probably wont use it but maybe a few times , if that.
Driving out on the road is no problem , I have drove 300 plus miles in all type of traffic and road conditions.
Seems pretty stupid they want a rookie like me to get this thing in there perfect with only 2 pull ups and 2 get outs.
Oh well it is what it is. Thanks again for the input !

Spread axle trailers are a bit different, but should get you close enough to get the hang of it.FlaSwampRat and Dreazz75 Thank this. -
I failed this #### parallel 3 times before I figured it out and passed with ease the 4th time lol. Do you know if your blindside or drivers side parallel parking?
