I'm in my sixth year and it is easily doable. HOWEVER with that said......if you can ever swing it .... get your next truck, purchase or lease, thru a dealer. There are programs "zero sum" leases or something like that, where the lease is five years, and is "zero" at the end of the lease. If you have the down payment, and have decent credit, your "monthly" payments will be much lower for the same amount of credit = more money for you. Just something to consider next time around if that works for you. Keep us posted? Anyways good luck OP.

This doesn't mean becoming a lease operator was my last resort though, that would have been retreating back to my parents house in *GULP* California. Looking back I think I should have joined Schneider as a company driver from the start, then transitioned to LP rather than sign with Werner. But then again hindsight is 20/20. I'd be happiest doing LTL but I believe I'll have alot of fun being in sleeper truck again. -
