I have a soft shell zipable cooler. I have a gel ice pack and two frozen bottles of water to keep my other drinks cold all day. Gatorade is a must.

On a side note, I've heard of people getting disciplined and in some cases even fired for getting caught on a DFC reaching for their drinks or playing with their radios. Weird.

Every company is different. Some do ban stuff like that.

Where I work they don't, so long as you pay attention to the road and maintain control of the truck they won't care.

You do have to be careful about the radio, some guys set their phones on the brake knobs directly below the radio so I think when they see you reaching there they tend to think phone. Dfcs do record sound so if you were to change the station you'd be able to tell.

Sorry to hear that, and kind of surprised as busy as I’ve been lately.

So we got a bunch of automatic trucks in from other buildings and some new ones. I thought auto trucks were a myth...I was wrong lol. I moved a few trailers with a brand new international and it wasn't bad...it didn't do the jerky bouncy backing up. I moved a auto cascadia that is a few years old and holy ####....that truck is why people hate automatic trucks lol.

That's what this was. Said MV on the doors, I'm guessing that's the model? The shifter is like a wiper controls, it was tripping me up lol. I was backing up to a door and went for the clutch pedal and just about had a panic attack when it wasn't there lol

It takes some getting use too but the Eaton's in the cascadias are junk.

From what I’ve been told the new 12 speed autos are slightly less annoying than the 10 speeds were.
