I heard David Lee Roth on some show the other day, maybe it was on here I don't remember, but he said when they produced the albums they would splice in several guitar riffs so it sounded seamless and then Eddie had to work like crazy to replicate it so when they toured it was exactly like the album.

Me and 2 of my running buddies saw ZZ Top / Bad Company in Memphis at the Mid South Coliseum. 1985 I think it was.

We slipped some Jack in stowed away in our boots. Some old boys from Arkansas sitting behind us had a stash and we got to trading out with them. Woke up in the bed of my pickup the next morning in the parking lot next morning. I didn't have a shirt on, buddy had a split lip, other buddy had a swollen eye and nose. To this day we ain't sure what happened. I still think a Arkansas crop duster may have accidentally sprayed that sh##t with cotton poison.

I don't know that Jackyl would've ever been considered mainstream but I get what you're saying. The music industry, as far as what you hear on the radio is a popularity contest for the most part, there are still very talented people that don't play the radio game. Kid Rock touched on this a little in his interview with Bobby Bones, said he has NEVER had a #1 song in the USA. The closest he came was his duet with Sheryl Crow and he messed that up by mouthing off to a radio big-wig iirc.

Maybe one you fellers can help me out..?

When ya'll post a music video, I see a video still & red play button.
I click the red button & watch. Very easy..

When I try to show a video, it's just a bunch of weird blue letters. It may work but looks half ###'d compared to y'alls..
