You might ask yourself why the canopy of the gas station is so high. The double-decker cattle truck needs clearance to gas up.
Here is my model fuel overhang at night with the addition of rafters and double-tube fluorescent light fixtures on the ceiling:

I'll be honest, I'm looking for a new virtual fuel stop. I've been having imaginary algae issues. A few questions:
1. Do you offer discounts by volume?
2. Do you offer cash price discounts?
3. Who supplies the fountain drinks (Pepsi or Coke)?
4. Do you have a rewards program?
5. When do you switch to winter blend diesel?
6. How often is the windshield washer fluid replenished?
7. Do you supply air and water at the pump?
8. Who supplies your fuel (BP, Valero, ConocoPhillips)?Last edited: Nov 26, 2019
homeskillet and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
2. Johnny and Vincent are dead. Maybe if they were alive we'd give them a discount.
3. Please don't drink from our fountain.
4. You get a trophy if you can find us.
5. Our blender is electric. Even in the winter.
6. Whenever you want. We sell it by the gallon.
7. Air, yes. Water, only when it rains.
8. PG&E.
And thus concludes comedy hour.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
We have no Columbias left in the fleet, and no mid-roof columbia ever hauled a van trailer. I don't know where that driver stole one of our trailers from, but I'm calling the US Marshalls.homeskillet, Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
That's a lot of open paved area in the lot. The only people that do that will charge you $8 for a frozen breakfast burrito you need to heat up in a microwave... Places that big are usually dirt lots especially in rural areas.
The outlying restroom is nice but not realistic. They usually build them into the building. Walk inside and into the back or there is a locked door on the outside corner. you have to go in and ask for the key to get in and bring it back after.
If there are two paths to the roadway then the first one that requires only a right turn to enter is the "entrance" and the "exit" would be the next one. Not always, unfortunately.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
They need a drive through window and a sign out on the road so 4-wheelers can whip through. $$Rideandrepair Thanks this.
