Wind is Whistling Dixie in Iowa... Just a breeze by Wyomimg standards so it didn't bother me much... And I've got 43k in the box. So I was the guy passing everything in sight. And the temps are dropping... It actually feels like it should be snowing to beat the band. I imagine it will be white when I wake up this afternoon.

Nope. It’s what I grew up driving in. I’ll tell you what’s tough for me. Driving through Arizona. I can barely stay awake it’s so boring looking. :D

The FMCSR and DOT are delaying for 2 years a law that will place minimum standards on new driver training schools.

They are delaying it because we all know it's about safety, not money.

This morning is one of those mornings that my ELD is going to turn on and off like 10 times.

In the 45 minutes it will take it to finally boot up, shouldn't this time be ON DUTY???

Waiting for the e log to boot up is an official act isn't it??

They say Irving, I think it was closer to Coppell, but they saved a nickel that way.
I was at a warehouse designed to load a 20ft trailer, wondering why I ever wanted to do this.. but After 20 minutes, a few choice words, throwing my cap in the passanger seat.. I finally made it, got loaded.. then another 20 minutes trying to inch around and get back out to the road..
Got to 635, was at 3, traffic halted due to holidays, then jumped on GB turnpike, all was great, until ray hubbard, again got home around midnight, load delivers monday so I get to be home for this going to grannys house rush, until sunday when everyones rushing home for monday.

Well the mornings wake up music is refilled. I try not to do repeats as well as have something with a good thump to it.

That is tough Dave. Makes you wonder which is worse, getting stuck on a dock while the lumper hand loads the truck on box at a time. Or going through the headaches of software that is killing your clock.

I think in that situation it is best to place the elog under the drive tire and "accidently" forget its under there while u drive out of the parking lot and back down the road
