I found some tutorial on the Qualcmom with the new ELD format.... showing basic changes... and yes.. it totally sucks... but Peoplenet SUCKS 100 times MORE with this new ELD version.... my former company wants me to go back but they use Peoplenet...
that + their new trucks with a bunch of new noises and sensors that irritate the crap out of anyone and take control away from the driver is a little too much on my nerves....

Back on the subject of strange toilets. Be grateful your not visiting a public toilet in a asian country. They use a squat toilet, where the user is expected to face the wall when in use. No, I have no idea how the men keep their pants from getting soiled.

This is our outside kitty... He's really old, but still going strong. I think he is like 10 or 12 years old, and still gives the occasional dog a lesson in the art Kitty Samari. His name is Chlorox. He is completely white, aside from the dark patches above his eyes and between his ears... Like he fell into a bucket of Chlorox and bleached everything but the top of his head... Lol His poor ears never get a break, they get frost nipped in the winter and sunburned in the summer.
He decided to sneak inside to steal some of the inside kitties food, while I was hauling in firewood.

They're not hard to figure out. Truck moves, eld goes to driving. Truck stops, you push the on duty or off duty button. If the truck moves again, it switches back to driving.dosgatos, lovesthedrive, WesternPlains and 1 other person Thank this. -

@Rocks Once you get a few weeks to play with it and try different things you will figure out the little quirks and which ones you can get around and which ones you just have to deal with.
I use On Duty Yard Move for my pretrip and fueling in the mornings. I actually do my walk around and inspection before clocking on for the day, the put the ELD in yard move to pull to the fuel pump and get fuel so I'm not in the way going 5 mph... I refuse to do that if I will be in the way. Also by being on yard move it doesnt kick me on to line 3 when I pull up to fuel my reefer.
I will also use Yard move to park once I'm on Private Property if my 11 hr clock is about to run out. Once I find my spot I will stop so I can look at it out my window, at which time I go to off duty to set up and back in as I dont go over 5 mph while backing in.RidgeRunner731, dwells40, WesternPlains and 3 others Thank this.
