Yes. Just in the past week I met a 80 y.o. and 78 y.o. driver at my company, they're local drivers, but still..

Too much expience is the worst thing to have. Age is not a benefit either. All co.s want to hire military people for the 50k a year tax credit. Wotc workers opportunity tax credit is also huge.there are 10 categories like Ex cons, welfare, military, etc. the co. Gets a tax credit for hiring them. Non monority, not a ex con ,you will earn less than them.because they take 40% of there gross wages as a tax write off. Good luck

That is in the running for dumbest comment of 2019. Also it appears your 3rd grade teacher and spell check both didn't work.

I sent last message and this one from my phone. Did not know we had a sensitive grade school teacher on here. Was broke down earlier when I chimed in. But yeah wotc employers get aprox 9,600 tax credit for hiring 1 of the 10 categories of bums. You never wondered why they keep wrecking trucks and they don,t get fired. It,s because they loose the tax credit. If they leave and come back, the employer does not get the tax credit. Co.s try to put them on easy loads, don,t have to deal with brokers and bs. Truck driving money is pretty sad, made more in the 80,s. In 94 at michels horizontal drill rig made over 200k in less than a year. In 03 1,300 gross was doable driving, not always the case now. Dispatchers ganging up on over 60 yr old drivers, I told them don,t ever talk that way too any older driver again or you will be dealing with me,caupesh. These drivers had exp from the 70,s. A younger driver might stick up for a older guy, pretty rare tho

I'm 54-years-old. That wasn't even an issue. I also was not the oldest person in my class.
