Roehl and Western Express are both bottom feeder outfits.

    Where are you located?

    Detriment to society is subjective.
15 mph over the speed limit can be a detriment to society.
Hauling beer isn't a detriment to society, but drinking it while driving can be.
Someone is going to haul that beer to the stores and if you don't, someone will.

McUzi and Vic Firth Thank this.

Roehl refrigerated is ok on a dedicated account. Roehl has a Kraft account, don't know what else.
Western flatbed is ok running OTR.
Western Express has cdl school tuition reimbursement.

I would pick Roehl over Western Express. Their trucks and trailers *look* to be in better shape.

From someone who has personally worked there for 1.5 years DO NOT GO REEFER AT ROEHL. Unless you like to sit with no miles. They wont haul 75 percent of the loads reefers haul. No meats, produce, or any of that stuff. They haul mostly dairy. Most of the experienced drivers have up and left the last few months due to no frieght. The Kraft fleet is decent if you like running dedicated. They have 2 one that runs out of Hranite City (St Louis) that takes care of the Midwest and one that goes from Maine down to Winter Haven, FL out of Winchester. I did that fleet for a bit and personally I just didnt like it. Personally if it was me dont go anywhere that makes you sign a contract but I will write a details description of why I would never go back

i was wondering why they needed a contract, and that bit worried me.

If you do, i'm sure that would be helpful to others as well!

Don’t sign ANY contracts. Any company that asks for that kind of nonsense should be eliminated from your “potentials” list immediately.

There isn’t any shortage of companies to drive for. Remember, they need you far worse than you need them.
