Glad I decided to wait until dinner before easing toward home.. same agent that the other load cancelled, got another one going towards the house, and its 2.98.. 15k lbs. it just wont be ready until tomorrow at 8 pm.. so I still stuck at homeless shelter in Grand Prairie..today..tonight..part tomorrow..
After I eat my healthy bologna sandwich, I will go in there and get everyone stirred up with hauling cheap freight
“$1/mile! gotta call now before someone beats me!” That usually works.

Yep. Wonderful place. Loved my time there. The Alpha Owens Corning place in Memphis isnt to bad, this one is awful.

If you're loading out shingles there, its easy peasy. We load there every day.

Incoming van freight no idea. But I know what you're talkin about with dock 5 I think. Its past the covered loading area at loading point 2, and you make a right. The exit is normally to your left, but it was blocked off when was there on the 7th.

Don't you get special corporate brownie points for repeating it often. Like an extra entry for tires or new truck?

Nice. I know you know van freight sucks around here, we actually do some van freight, but its direct customer, multi drop and pays good.

Im headed towards La Porte from Sweetwater this afternoon. Dispatcher told me she might have an Owens Corning out of Houston for me tomorrow, or maybe steel. Im hoping for steel lol.

    WesternPlains and lovesthedrive Thank this.
