I have a question about greasing front Springs.
On the fld120, the rear hanger took grease but it only pushed out on the side near the fitting.
Everything else pushed out on both sides.
Is that acceptable for it only to come out on one side?

Ideally it should purge between both shackles to ensure the pin/bush is thoroughly lubed. I wouldnt go changing it just yet. Run it some and retry it again.

That's the ONLY way to grease Front Springs. In My Humble opinion...Cabinover101, blairandgretchen and REO6205 Thank this. -
I did grease it with jack stands on the frame and the axle hanging free.
I think @Goodysnap is correct.
This truck sat for about five years before I put the engine in and I really went over the whole truck.
So if I go down the road and let the spring do its work I think it will take the grease.
While I still have it hanging I can jack the axle a little bit and see if that relieves it, and after I get the wheels back on it and the weight back down on it I'll try the bottle jack also.Cabinover101, SAR and Goodysnap Thank this. -

And I think it will take grease once I go down the road with it, if not with the other ways described.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
Side note/Question ~ I want to buy the DeWalt battery operated Grease Gun. Does anyone have this or use this? I've read mostly good reviews on it.

Bought one of these for any clogged grease fittings
