Seen a driver park in the fuel lane, walk to the fender at his drive tire, unzip and take a piss right there in the fuel lane, in front of everyone, no shame. Unbelievable.

are you fairly new as a driver?

i seen many drivers do just that, and MORE at not only the fuel islands , but in a parking space, when all they had to do was walk their fat butts into the building.

can anyone blame a shopping mall or strip mall from kicking out truckers that park there?

    i can't.

in fact i'd go as far as saying that ALL shopping malls, all parking lots ought to be built to prevent trucks from gathering there.

only delivery trucks should be parked there , and even then. AT the loading docks.

if a trucker has NO RESPECT for private property, then i as a FORMER trucker have no more respect for them now, as i never did when i was a working trucker.

Adds weight too. If weight is a factor in rate, then wrap it up...

It's because most of these clowns seem to think Walmart owes them a place to park.

Not to justify anyones behavior but I went in the restroom at the FlyingJ East St. Louis and every toilet was plugged. All the dumpsters were overflowing. One cashier taking care of all the customers. Seems like they could do a better job of taking care of this but I guess profit is more important.

I have never been terribly impressed by the East St. Louis Flying J. It's a shining beacon on the hill compared to the horrible Flying J/ Pilot in Pasco, WA that is basically 4x50 year old fuel pumps without DEF next to an old barn converted into a convenience store.

Some of the new places that Loves and Pilot/FlyingJ are building are nice. Seems like the owners would also be interested in taking care of the older places also. Especially since the customer base is already established. Have you been to the Loves in Tacoma?

Not sure. If it's the one I think it might be, it's an older truck stop rebranded as a Loves. Fairly large with a poorly arranged parking lot. If it is the one I am thinking of, the closest freeway exit to access it was closed for construction about 2 years ago.

Yea with a small amount of parking. I hear they have finished rebuilding it. I wonder if it is.
