One of those ridealongs would kill my productivity, since I can neither confirm nor deny the possibility of some slightly questionable shortcuts during my runs. :biggrin_25520:

Mack I can positively say, the same thing. :biggrin_25526::biggrin_25526:

I've never been down a no truck route road, in my life. :biggrin_2559:
Or cut through parking lots, down one way alleys, Bumped and run stop signs, stopped in the middle of a road for a single box delivery (with my hazards on), left my door open to go across the street for the next stop, NOT completely put my lift gate in to keep from having to pull it all the way back out at my next stop down the street:biggrin_2559:

Yeah, I see them like that occasionally. Seems to be a lot more stable than trying to keep them standing up.

Tip it up on the wall and throw a strap on it. What's the issue driver?

Not to worry. The dock idiots will have no problem doing that once they have to fit something next to it.

Our guys would just throw away the stacking cone and drop another pallet on top of that one.

I'd like to work with YOUR guys, if they'd get off their lift to do manual labor.

road_runner and MACK E-6 Thank this.

    Manual labor? What’s that? o_O

They’d just hoist it up with a forklift.

    misterG Thanks this.

I think the best solution here is to come over to FxF, where all drivers start off with some amount of dock work!

    No....

Dock idiots need to spend some time on the road, so they can see why certain things have to be a certain way.

“Oh, so THAT’S why you cant turn two side-by-side pallets sideways going to a place with no dock”.

“Oh, so THAT’S why you always need another pallet under that 4-stringer skid. The pallet jack doesn’t fit”.
