OK, tried doing a search on Link America but didn't come up with anything so does anyone have insight on this company? The good, the bad, the bold, etc. Hoping to hear from some current or very recent driver's. To me they don't seem to be one of the "bigger" companies although they have ad's posted. Info from their website is limited. Thanks in advance.

I believe they are spin off of Lane Freight based out of Houston, Texas
-
There are some posts on here about them,
but they are mostly negative. -

I know Lane Freight hauls plastic bottles and coke products in 57' trailers a couple of years ago. I use to talk to their drivers up in Dallas and Ft Worth, when I hauled the same product for a company locally.
-
guy I talked to there said their trucks are governed at 62mph.

I was with a carrier (Mike Brooks, Inc) that ended up being sold to Link America. I got out before this as I saw what was about to happen. Stayed in touch with several other drivers that stayed on and none of them had a kind word about Link America. In fact, they really got taken to the cleaners. I feel sorry for what happened to those guys. Just thankful I dodged that bullet.

I was called and offered a job a link america. what does anyone know about this company? I live in Alabama and their terminal is in Lakeland,FL. They kinda bulked about me taking truck home. Also i see someone said they have bad trucks. Don/t want to get into something that would be bad. Any comments welcome.

I was about to go to Link America next week but decided to check out the POSTS about Link America. I figured if there was one or two negatives I would not pay them any attention, but all negative and no positives. I am staying home. Thanks for the info.
123456 and Skunk_Truck_2590 Thank this.
