I'm getting a lot more customers requiring the drivers to unhook from the trailer before touching the load. I guess there must be more accidental drive-off's happening more often than we know. Use to be the occasional Wally-world DC would require it.

I picked up at this place last weekend. It’s even worse than it looks. Well it won’t let me insert a photo from my iPad. Oh well, trust me, it was bad.

Paroozing the want ads in my area to get a feel for what's out there. An ad for "vegetation management" was listed. Didn't pay crap, but just the heading made me think...is that what people who mow your yard are calling their jobs now? "Hello, my name is Josè, I am here to manage your vegetation"

Take that local job driving the one stack Mack with the window in the back cement truck. That would be quite entertaining if you still posted on here! Just kidding

LTL is hiring like crazy--across the board, just about every company. Even FXF doesn't micromanage like Creaffer--you might want to put in a few apps.

Couple days from hell. Yesterday, almost 7 hours because those lazy ##### at Kraft couldn't get motivated to load any faster. Which put me in Atlanta rush hour again. All that chewed up most of my day so I couldn't turn many miles towards my delivery...and not make either the scheduled window to pick up a preloaded trailer, or make the delivery by midnite tonite...then, when I finally made it to the pickup, security pointed me towards the wrong shipping office, but I didn't find out I was in the wrong place until I waited for almost 30 min to get to the window...then told 'wrong office'.....once I found the right place to check in, then went to pu my loaded trailer, it has a door sensor issue, and on these new trailers, the unit won't go into high speed cool when it thinks the door is open, and I am pulling a 0° load. So, now I am sitting in front of a carrier dealer waiting on their on-call service guy to come back in to fix my trailer. And I hope it's a quick fix because I am down to 4 hr on my 14...why can't I have a normal trip? This is really getting to me bad
Lonesome, Farmerbob1, motocross25 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Farmerbob1 Thanks this.

For those that have the 'door open' fault on these newer carrier units, here is how you solve it...at least temporarily.(this is all the Carrier tech did because he has to be able to open the door to replace it)
Lonesome, wulfman75, Speed_Drums and 3 others Thank this.
