Joined Panther under impression my brother and I as a team would be kept busy and moving. Try sitting more than moving. Told to stay around the north so we do and still sit We been out with them an entire mth taking what they give us and running empty doesn't pay so try this. Empty move from Memphis 854 miles to Birmingham to get a look ad that's 237 miles!!! For real! I'm going broke listening to their excuses and will be leaving but its to late now because I'm about to loose my own big truck if payment isn't made. We both have made in a mth $1567. They lied and keep making excuses. So if all the so called good runs are up north why hire people from the south??? Why lie to drivers like this?? Oh wait I know why because they want to make sure they have trucks ready for when customers do call. I was told on the phone they WAIT for customers to call??? Why not call them and say Hey I got a couple trucks coming in have you got anything? Then they also say they need to keep their customers happy n havevtrucks available. What about the drivers sitting not making any $??? We are the reason these companies are even moving freight!!!! This sort of mess causes serious damage to people's lives that lead to heart attacks! I've been in trucking since 1999 and I know the lies to get drivers in the seat but REALLY! We sit Friday afternoon in Atlanta and no load so we sit all weekend!!! I have never dealt with this sort of sitting ever.
