If they can be sold...... The last two trucks I bought were fleet trucks that one was from a company that went out of business, and the other from a medium-smallish company upgrading all their equipment. Both trucks had been sitting on the lots for over two years.
Prices really come down on inventory that old. I knew going in the tires would need replacing, but I was going to put all new on most any truck I buy. Trade terms double and triple recap tires wont get it long distance.

True....but if they can sell a $15k truck for $8k cause someone has already paid that difference and recoup some losses going into bankruptcy.....
Crappy business, but nothing personal, just business -
What's got all you guys taking about quality? Was there something in the news about them or is this all based on celadon choosing up shop?

Was in the news. Quality said theyre closing and no new leases but existing customers can keep the truck until the lease is up.spyder7723 Thanks this.

So not filling bankruptcy. That would be the only thing that put current lessees in jeopardy.Last edited: Mar 1, 2020

roshea Thanks this. -
And I was doing weekend loads and couldn't put in any information or submit pay paperwork. Apparently no concept of a backup or rollover server with our IT department.
