Maybe those assumptions apply to some people, but there are plenty of us that could easily go a month and never come into contact with anyone outside our homes. And we actually parent so our children wouldn't be hanging out with their buddies.

That's the ONE thing that has me thinking about changing my normal route.
I run NC to the PNW and back every other week. It's about a 10-11 day turn.

I'm not worried about going into WA... unless for some reason they quarantine the state while I'm in it. I don't deal with large groups of people, and I can stay out of milling around large truck stops.

I told my wife that my concern would be getting stuck out west with a fuel supply disruption.
As soon as we hear it "could be" one, everybody will run out to fill up every empty 2lt Coke bottle they can find.

I need 350-400gal of diesel to get back from WA, depending upon how I'm loaded.

Really tempted to just run Ohio for a while bc I know I don't need to fuel at all.

I will be carrying extra food/water/ammo.... because you never know what the lunatics will do.

I’ll make it, no matter what. Always do. . Last year was the worst in 12 yrs for Me. I went backwards. Still I’ve been in worse situations. No need to panic, whatever happens, I’ll deal with it. There’s always a way, if you’re willing to do whatever it takes.

Been hangin out in the condo pretty heavily lately.

Hit the pool at night. Hang at the beach away from people and shop at Publix late at night twice a week.

I'm a germaphobe anyways so lots of cleansing.

Supposed to go see my sister in Tampa this weekend who RVed here from Texas but having second thoughts .3 people traveling 1300 miles with multiple stops equals a lot of exposure before she hugs me.

Not Paranoid just trying to be sensible.

I know we may all eventually catch Corona but I just got over a flu I got in January that dragged out into walking pneumonia .

Let me enjoy a month or 2 of not coughing before I have to fight the Corona.

Fyi, publix delivers. For over 2 years now, the only time we go to the grocery store is if we forgot to put an an essential item on the order or a last minute urge to throw some steaks on the grill.

Might have to come Drive that extra Kenworth you got sitting around. For a while. I’ll bring my own tools, in case I need them. Truck will be in better condition, not worse, when I leave. Lol

I’m more worried about getting food poisoning on the road than this stupid thing.
I’ll be fine. I wouldn’t like being without work for a while but I’ll be fine.

I just as soon coke out on Pinky and the Brain stuff all over again.

If I understand Uncle Sam possibly sunk 5 trillion as of today, markets rose and fell again a combined 20% and fell some more ignoring it. It has not hit the 20% circut breaker to close for the day yet.

A thought. Suppose the entire USA is sitting home. There is no income, no economy to speak of and so on. Truckers will literally be the last one standing and rolling.

    Isnt that something.
