Ok I realize this thread hasn't had much activity in the past month but I have a question. Do they have any dedicated runs out of the Columbus Ohio area? Is Columbus a area I can get a No - touch run?? I've been driving for 27 years and I need a place to call home. Wife is getting tired of me always being gone.

The closest DC to you is in Cambridge City, Indiana. Unless you’re willing to relocate I don’t think there’s anything available in Columbus. Sorry man. They do have ‘offsite’ drivers in certain areas though, so I could be wrong. I guarantee it won’t be a ‘no-touch’ position.

Been there 20 years and in the past 10 I've made no less than $90,000 annually and barely hitting 100,000 miles a year. Its doable and usually 3 days off.
-
Oh sure you made 90 grand. That's why they're always hiring. LOL. Plus if you're willing to take 9 or 10 pallets and break them down into 50 to 100 pallets then you deserve 90k a year. But there's no way you're going to make that kind of money just from driving from point A to point BLast edited: Apr 1, 2020

You’ve NO CLUE! I know transfer drivers that made just under what delivery drivers were making. 85K a year is doable, you keep believing that your being lied to...
-
We're hiring because we're always growing. Turnover is less than 20%. Straight up mileage if you drive transfer is .53 top step. 3000 miles a week x .53 = $1590 before other pay. That's 83k before mileage bonus, safety bonus, quarterly bonus, stop pay etc. But, of course you obviously know better than us what goes on here, so please tell me more about my job.

I deliver to Mount Sterling here and there and that place is awesome. Really nice people and overnight parking. Quick unload. I'd go to work for them if I lived near a terminal. I also go to the Williamsport, MD terminal, that place isn't as good and Mount Sterling, but it's not bad. Every Dot Foods driver I've talked to seems happy with them.

Well said!!

Actually, you can and I do. I don't work for DOT FOODS, but 90K is easy to make. I do LTL tho lol
