With the huge amount of shuttered retail, intermediate distribution is slowly filling up.
We have a bunch of customers worried about the influx of goods already on the sea now that China has re-started production.
Looks like we will be pre-pulling a lot of cans... and waitin' for the trapped goods to start leaving the intermediate warehouses.
gonna get real tight until those cans are all MT and returned AND we finally collect the out of pocket as we are responsible to pay the pier charges for sittin' on the cans all that time.
Like negative numbers for the 2nd quarter and possible the third quarter too until the receivables catch up, hopefully sometime in early 2021.shatteredsquare and FoolsErrand Thank this. -

But the news won't mention how the china virus was the cause of the deaths.
Only that the government was to blame.JonJon78 and Wasted Thyme Thank this. -

And after the Virus dissipates, the next thing to drop will be the devaluation of the dollar due to the government borrowing and Federal Reserve printing money. Won't be hyper-inflation, but higher than would be normal.

Where they should be getting about $0.27 per mile fsc, they are being paid $0.15 fsc instead. As prices continue to drop they will edge closer and closer to $0.00 fsc.
In the real world it costs about $0.25 - $0.35 per mile in fuel depending on weight, terrain, balance of the load, etc.
The motor carrier has basically recalculated the 6 fleet mpg to 7 mpg to capture back a percentage of the fsc for themselves.spindrift and FoolsErrand Thank this. -
One of the 1st things is Italians socialize by going out for an Aperativo almost every night ,that usually involves a lot of close contact as well as the standard Italian greeting of a kiss on each side of the face.
Milan is the Fashion capital of the world and Wuhan was doing a lot of business in the Lombardy region as they like to use well know brand names and manufacture their product.
Bergamo isa very tight village more or less, a lot of tight socialization targeted that area in particular is my belief.
Also Italy did not see this coming at them. They were the experiment. Their healthcare was over ran, the dangerous thing we are trying to prevent in the USLast edited: Apr 3, 2020
