More closures like this is what will really put the brakes on trucks rolling. If they don't get a handle on the spread and stop plant closures, we're going to see food shortages up the wazoo.

Last year and the year before, Anheuser-Busch shut down operations in Fairfield California because of poor air quality from the Wine Country fires and the health risks to employees. Currently they're still open and shipping beer from all of their plants, even though there seems to be a much higher threat to employee health at the moment than some smoke in the air. I think it's just a matter of time before many more production facilities of all kinds around the US shut down because the workers are scared. Can't say that I blame them, but that's going to make it difficult to get the economy started back up.

This is disaster waiting to happen because it will start the second wave of infections and deaths. Antibody tests have not begun yet. The truth is, the pandemic will end when with herd immunity.

If you followed the what the president has said he made it very clear it will be up to the Governors he has given them the free reigns and support so if it get worse the Governers will be at fault because them dems love finding anything to blame on him they are blaming him now for the virus itself instead of the lab it came from.

As for China, we have other more pressing issues unless they decide to unleash another virus on the globe. I hope they do allow people to sue the Chinese government because what they did was terrible they stopped people from going deeper in China but let people out the country to spread the love of the virus.

War would not surprise me at this point. We are pretty weak and fragile right now, particularly with the loss of our Meat plants and that of Canada which I just learned about in the night. Canada expects no meat in their stores relatively fast having closed pretty much all their big plants.

Heavy, do you really think Iran and China will be allies in this? I think Iran is suffering pretty high casualty numbers because of China, and we know the communists haven't had a good track record with islamists. I'd be watching Pakistan closely right now. India hasn't yet been hit with coronavirus, (and I expect it to get UGLY there.) if Pakistan wants to go into India? Then Iran might sign with the ChiComs, but if Pakistan decides to help Iran access Mongolia? Well, that's a different ballgame.
