I am curious of if I can get work with my 3/4 ton pickup. I remember when I was on the road I saw alot of people driving pickups that were ferrying loads. They looked commercial. Yet does anyone know if there are companies out there that are hiring?

You can deliver travel trailers, I didn’t say you can make money, but there are plenty coming out of Indiana.
rachi, alds, Western flyer and 1 other person Thank this. -
Hotshot. Can you make a 3/4 ton truck and whatever trailer work? Sure, you won't make much money and you'll constantly lose loads because you don't have enough capacity.
That's why you see mostly 1 tons and 40ft goosenecks. You need the length and capacity.rachi and lovesthedrive Thank this. -

I have hauled farm tractors before. So it isnt that much more work to me to pull a longer trailer. Alas I no longer have anything decent / inspectable. I do have trailers. Yet I buy and resell mostly these days. What I have currently needs alot of work.

Is that blue 01 Ram a 24 valve or a V10?

Out here the Amish hire a lot of Pickup haulers. Not a lot of pay in it but lots of work available. Trailers need to be at least 24 footers for them. Pole Barns and Livestock are big.
lovesthedrive Thanks this. -
