I just watched a video on their truck set up, really nice. I drove open deck for 8 years and there's not much more I could ask for in a set up.
Crete or Magnum?

Crete is definitely not a bottom feeder. I’ve worked for bottom feeders. My opinion is they are a decent company for a mega. They have their weak points like anywhere else. But, they do treat you fairly and don’t do things like finding reasons to not fix a truck/trailer and tell you to drive despite it being a DOT fix. I’ve worked at places that outright shaft you. Now they can’t shake a stick at a good paying small-med mom & pop or family outfit. But, how many of those establishments are going to be around in a decade or two, let alone true OO’s?

Depending on how old that data is, it might be better now for newer trucks. I heard a couple of Hunt guys saying that the company truck spec was getting a boost to engine power from the factory. Nothing huge, but enough to make a difference on heavier loads. That was about a year back I overheard that conversation, I think.Truckermania Thanks this.

They didn't say anything about the power, but the headache and tool box set up impressed me.Farmerbob1 and Truckermania Thank this.
