Same here but if it had been available in those days I would have been first in line to get it.

Ancient history side note...The last contract we had with PIE required all new equipment to have air conditioners. That was fine except that nowhere in the contract did it it require that those air conditioners be fixed when they broke down. They broke down pretty quick, too.
Teamsters kinda dropped the ball on that one and we all went back to sweating again,
Two years later PIE went out of business and I went to work where I am now. We had...and still have...good air conditioners. We fix 'em, too.

Does the AC work on and off intermittently while driving? If so pull over and raise the hood. I drove a T680 once that the little connector to the compressor would jar loose sometimes. It was plugged in, just like it was a sloppy plug.

I haven't had A/C in 3 weeks. I avoid large nasty pickle parks. Been sleeping in a hammock under my trains here in Michigan or the lead or pup if i split them out of state. Fan and windows down. Had a guy tell me today how nice my black w9 is. Haha #### thing turns into an oven.
