Nothing exciting happening on my couch. I did get lured out today and loaded the wagon. Rumor is my first stop canceled, but I will not know until I get to Charlotte to unload and reload.

First stop did cancel, but they were able to find a replacement. Hopefully it will work out better than the other. It cuts off about 60 miles and pays more.

@062 ... i pull boxes in boxes. They had me haul 'paper rollers' last night on the fly. I'm not a 'securement' kind of guy... all I have are load locks! Well, the box was sealed, and only 12 k... so I 'ran' with it, a bit 'iffy' feeling. When they unloaded me, I was like... 'WOW' that's it? I had NO clue what I was hauling...and it was locked, sealed, all that fun stuff. I couldn't even check it if I wanted to. Almost 6 years w/this company and NEVER have I EVER hauled one of those, haha! Made it. Extra run, why not?

Worse for wear, I guess... haha!

    062 Thanks this.

3C3B1D7B-9DF0-47F9-89B6-572731228EE4.jpeg I don’t know how the pic posted sideways. Poor fella, I went inside and came back to him looking for me in the bed. If he makes it another year he’ll probably be completely blind.

I haven’t pulled paper in years, but most all of them had their own securement. Last I loaded they put these big sticky pads on the wall, then ran plastic strapping from one side to the other. Like how they band pallets.

Yep, you're talking about paper rolls. I literally haul BOXES. Flat, corrugated, crafted, BOXES. Smuckers, Heinz, Campbells, Sterilite, Chewy, Pepperidge Farms, etc... literally BOXES, haha!

    dwells40 and 062 Thank this.

Newport Tn about 4 miles from my first stop, but will have to call them before I roll out tomorrow. According to google they have two locations and having seen this movie before. If I don’t when I get to the address on the bill, I’ll be at the wrong place.
