A least 20 train cars derail after smashing into semi stuck on tracks
    Everybody repeat after me:Holy S***!!!

Even the locomotives went off the rails.
What is it with trucks getting stuck at grade crossings in Georgia as of late??
And always involving a Norfolk Southern train??
Note the Swift Intermodal cans in the first photo. A bad omen perhaps??

Swift can’t win can they. They can’t even put a conex box on a freight train without being involved in a crash.

    I know, right?
Bad luck, or no luck at all!
I’m getting the impression they built their headquarters on some ancient Indian burial ground no one bothered to mention! LMAO

its actually not that hard. Either remove a rail or lodge something on the rail that acts like a ramp that lifts the locomotive about a foot of elevation.
It is only a guess on my part, that the driver hooked his landing gear on the tracks and yanked a rail loose. Todays rail is supposed to be welded. Yet there are tracks out there that still have bolted joints.

Minor injuries to three people: the driver and two on the train. Amazing no one was killed. Think of the forces involved in knocking locomotives off the rails.

You'd think a train carrying millions of dollars worth in cargo would redesign portions of railroad entry so this doesn't happen. Was there any warning signs? And how did his landing gear get stuck? I imagine that could only happen if it wasn't raised all the way up

rolls canardly and FerrissWheel Thank this.
