One thing to watch for is when walking between trucks if you see a window rolling down slow down. Some drivers dump piss without looking . Also do not step on Walmart sacks.

I was raised a city boy and had a bad traumatic experience in the woods as a child. To this day I get a bit freaked out being alone where there are few humans. Even on my acreage out in the desert with no one around, I won’t go if I’m not carrying. And while it’s good protection from critters, it’s the human kind that I’m concerned about.
Truck stops are safe to me. Even the ones in notably bad areas. I know the games and characters there.Traveling Thanks this. -

I don't think I ever mentioned it before but you should always watch out for runaway trucks in the lot. I had a tractor t-bone me at 1230 while I was asleep. No driver and an empty truck. Turns out the guy had it waiting for service after pulling it out of a field, parked in the lot and the brakes let go up the hill from me. My truck was 3 months old.

I guess nobody remembers the Fina in Albuquerque or whatever that place was where the Ontario mall is now.
