    Hi,

Anyone have an update on how the DMV is operating as of right now? I have to head back home to get a restriction on my license saying I have to wear glasses and my mom told me they’re working from home in my town, trying to figure out how the hell I’m supposed to get a new license if that’s true. Of course @Chinatown has the answer I’m looking for haha

    Best regards, John

In Texas drivers are having to make appointments. My Dad is no longer an owner operator but he maintains his CDL and Medical Card. He had to make an appointment that was originally scheduled 3½ weeks out.

Same in North Dakota, have to call and make an appointment.

I had to wait 3 weeks to get in to get a license plate for one of my trailers.

I no longer have a Drivers's License. Thankfully my state-issued ID card is still valid. Here in Virginia, I have heard it's a nightmare to get most anything there in a timely way. In Virginia, you have to go to DMV to even get vehicle tags.

I use this website called skiptheline for DMV appointments in my home state (NC). Basically have to make appointments several weeks in advance unless in my state it's common for them to be booked at least 2 weeks out minimum, sometimes the line is a month or more .

Like I scheduled on July 11 to take all of my remaining endorsement tests on Aug 10. That was the first day they had available in my hometown DMV

Yikes, they gave me 30 days and it’s been about 2, I might be out of business for a bit if I have to wait that long

my state, they are helping us thru appointments. that'll be going on for a while longer yet.

it should clearly state on your DMV's website, how they are handling this.

it should be a state wide website from the DMV. locations like here, can either be opened or closed. but it should be the main location that should be operational.
