Last fall a guy died (car accident), his death has resulted in at least two businesses shuttering, with over 100 employees losing their jobs. Wife couldn't assume all of his duties, and paying somone else to assume them cost too much. It was better for her to shut down the business than it was to sell it or keep it open.
One death can have an outsized influence in the greater world.bryan21384, Sirscrapntruckalot, Swine hauler and 1 other person Thank this. -

Virologist hospitalized with coronavirus believes he got it through his eyes
Now, could someone tell me how a mask would prevent this?
Remember, those blue masks that these truckstops sell don't stop the virus, they're too porous. They filter down to 5 microns...the virus is 1.25 microns. The homemade masks made from various fabric are less effective. People argue that "it's better than nothing"...remember, it only takes 1 to get thru for you to contract it. Wearing a mask it like putting a bandaid on an amputation. It might stop a little blood, but the rest of your blood keeps flowing.drvrtech77, brysol01, Trucker Paul and 3 others Thank this.
