My favorite comedian..
Killed by drunk driver.. best of my memory the drunk kid didn’t serve a day.

 

25 years ago I was out at the dump in Florida dropping off yard debri from my tree trimming business

There was a drum grinder on a trailer that a private contractor had out there to make it all into mulch.

The trailer needed to be moved close to the pile and the old man there yelled at the young kid to jump into the old Pete and move the trailer

After 2 minutes of the kid babying it in the slick ground and just spinning the tires this short little old guy pulls him out of the cab and jumps up in there.

He Lit up that old 12-71 like it was a dragster. Tached to the high heavens he pulled 4 gears and clawed forward 10 feet .

Than started the reverse rocking than grabbing forward again going through the gears.

I don’t think the tach ever dropped under 2000

This went on for 10 minutes of unmuffled 12-71 just getting Thrashed 20 feet from me.

Best concert I’ve ever been to .

Old man jumped out of the truck after repositioning the trailer and yelled out.

“That’s how it’s done”

When I was 10

 

Was working at ticketmaster when Sam died. Had already set up to get employee tickets for his show in Orlando. Thought my buddy was joking when he said he died.

Truthfully, that guy was parked next to em in a truck stop with his pet... I hope it’s a pet..
