What has been your best experience on the road?

Believe it or not dealing with cops and dot officers. Pulled over on Ohio turnpike, 75 in 65 far left lane. Two four wheelers running side by side at 55, I jump in left lane to go around and they hang me there. Go by Ohio's finest. He pulls out and throws light on and gets in behind me. I slow down and so do the cars. All 4 of us going 50. I speed up to 70, so do cars. Hit breaks hard and cars go by, I hit the shoulder. Cop walks up and say what was going on? Told them they were messing with me. He says I am going to do an inspection on you. I say rest area 2 miles up road, hate to get hit on highway while doing inspection. He says sure lets head to the service plaza. I pull out and he follows. Some idiot gets on radio and says "hey New Century you have a bear behind you. I reply screw him I have to pee, headed for service plaza. Lots of chatter slamming the cop all the way to plaza. Pull in and park trooper is in tears laughing. Full inspection, all clear lets me go with no ticket.

 

Best experience on the road has been buying my own truck and getting away from making the other guy rich.

 

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need........roads.

 

Even though that dude deserved it, I get the feeling that lady doesn't respect truck drivers.

 

She's probably tired of dealing with #######, can barely speak English, don't give a F about anyone else truck drivers.
