As long as you’re a member, you’ll have free process agents on all states too.
But they send you emails a lot to “Talk to your senators now!! We’re over regulated!!”
But that doesn’t work, they tell you and I’m quoting “The senator will vote how she sees fit.”
My reply “Which ever party pays the second party the most?”
And I got hung up on, again.
Maybe I should sue, they hurt my feelings.
Outta be worth at least a million.
Is anyone an OOIDA member?

I'm a member. The discounts you can get on various products/services will more than pay for the $45 membership if used.
Not sure how much is offered up in Canada but in the US lots. Not to mention the monthly magazine that comes out always has some good articles to read.Speed_Drums, bzinger and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this. -

Never been a member, and do just fine without them. However, it does seem like a lot of members of TTR speak highly.

Lifetime member here. I think some people are confused about the purpose and goals of OOIDA. It is a professional organization set up to give voice to thousands of small business truckers. They are not a union or a labor organization as is is illegal for independent contractors to organize for the purpose of setting rates. It is not an organization that can or will come out in support of a truck strike (would be against Federal law) or such actions by a group or groups of truckers-for example the Black Smoke guys.
But they have been to court and are responsible for the existence of the Truth in leasing regulations, are responsible for reining in the corrupt Tennessee DOT, stopped Minnesota for enforcing their ill thought of standards for putting drivers OOS for being tired and many other actions.
Do I agree with their positions on everything. Heck no. But overall they do a good job making sure Congress doesn't just hear the ATA side of things.WannaGoTrucks2016, Dino soar, Speed_Drums and 9 others Thank this. -
I found NASTC to more beneficial for myself.

It's easily worth the $45 annual membership fee.
WannaGoTrucks2016 and bzinger Thank this.
