I personally hate cummins after using the isx and x15 for the past 5 years.
I have a 2016 579 with a paccar motor and I love it way better then many tractors that I have driven in the past 30 years.
I've driven 579's for the past 6 years and I'd rather have one then a whole lot of other tractors out there.
It's just my personal preference.
I believe that anything is good if you take care of it.
Take care and good luck. Report back!

Cummings appeared in later model Beterbilts, often paired with Baton Puller 14 peeds.

I’d say don’t limit yourself to two trucks. Keep loooking and do research on each truck. Try your best (although not always possible) not to get any truck from above the mason dixion line. The salt they use on the roads when it snows eats away at the metal on the truck. I’ve had a freightliner for a few years. I had to put money into over time but it’s mine and I went 8 months with an issue. I thinks that’s a reall good Run.
