Wanted to provide an update on the comment I made almost two years ago. From what I understand, Jrayl acquired a bunch of trucks from the former megacarrier; Celedon though unspecified means. This new fleet was used to replace the Majority of the CNG trucks and Ryder trucks.. but these trucks are mostly if not all automatic. I had also heard that the company removed the Unrestricted CDL requirement about a year ago due to the prevalence of automatic trucks. For any driver planning on going with Jrayl.. you may get lucky enough to get a manual but don't count on it your likely to be assigned an automatic truck.
Volvo I-shift is still my favorite automatic.. ive driven not one or two but three trucks Equipped with an Eaton Ultrashift for a year and a half and they all had similar issues with shifting.
