Totally unrealated topic, but I saw a Wylie truck and trailer parked in a rest area for almost a full workweek recently. Wonder what the mother ship would think of that?

The guy probably quit (or was told he quit) and cleaned it out, but got another job before they found out.

No. It finally moved yesterday. I saw him get off at the next exit.

Unloaded in Michigan today...ahhhh Kroger, makes me look forward to delivering to Walmart D/C's. Before I left the shipper Friday with my Michigan load, they had already planned me on my next run that picked up today outside Columbus going to Charlotte...on the way to pick that load up, I am already planned on a load that delivers Tuesday. Feels weird being planned like this. Wylie would preplan 1 load at a time, an usually on the way back to the plant from your last delivery. Really makes me have to get my thinking cap out of mothballs and tune it up.

I am having some Peoplenet issues though. The system randomly adds trip number from older, completed trips. Yesterday it re-added that trip from Joliet (delivered last Tuesday). This a.m., I had 5 trips on yesterday's log that I was online certifying. That, and yesterday's log had 4 trailers on there, going back to some I had last week as well. Plus, I still can't play messages going down the road. You hit the 'play' icon to hear a message that popped up, it switches to the 'pause' icon...and just sits there. This only started after the latest software update.

I hear ya, since the new HOS rules have been uploaded I’ve had enough issues that Peoplenet’s helpline has been added to my phones address book lol...

    ## PNET, these C*SKRS update us while we are driving! They are out of control & will cause someone to rollover or get a DOT violation, they truly suck! I submitted top the C/S Q&A YouTube page/series some alternative recommendations (including detention bump to our full driving potential earnings)....

Mine usually starts a software update about 1 min before I am stopping for fuel or a pee break.

Ahhh the joys of drop trailers. I dropped my load in Charlotte today. Kinda a tight little place (Forward Air cross-dock terminal). We had 2 empties. 1 had half the plastic cover over the inside reefer components torn off...and dispatch showed it unavailable. The other had this issue

So I reported it, and then they sent me all the way to Shelby NC for an empty at the Wally D/C. Gave me a specific trailer to pick up...and I know why....the sucker is dead empty on fuel. But...the next load is a dry load, so I'll get it filled up and primed for the next guy. I can't say this was another driver doing this for sure...could have been dropped at the D/C with plenty of fuel, but it may have been there a while.(notice I am trying to be upbeat and positive?)
